We love our babies at Cornerstone! We know that children are a "gift from the Lord" and we strive to see them as such. You can be assured that your child will be well taken care of and loved while you enjoy the worship services and the Sunday School classes at Cornerstone. Cornerstone makes sure that there are adequate workers needed for all the children in our care. This is accomplished by our paid nursery staff and volunteer church members as needed. All staff and leaders, who work with our children, have been through a background check and screening process prior to working with the children.
The nursery is supervised by Jessica Hernandez. With the help of her staff and volunteers, we are here to love and nurture your children. The nursery is available for all Sunday morning and evening services and Wednesday night small groups. The nursery is also provided as needed for extra activities and will be announced before hand.
The children are separated into two rooms by age group.
Sunday Morning:
· Nursery provided for infants through two years old
· Toddler class provided for three years old through four years old
Sunday Evening:
· Child care provided for infants through five years old
Wednesday Evening:
· Nursery provided for infants through three years old
· Pioneer Club provided for four years old through Kindergarten
Picking Up Children
Please pick up your child, or children, promptly after the church services. At Cornerstone we take child security seriously. First and foremost, we want to provide a secure environment for every child. Only parents or previously approved guardians are allowed to check children in or out of our nursery facility. The pager must be returned when the child is picked up.
Wellness Policy
We cannot and will not accept children who have the following symptoms. Please do not bring sick children to the nursery.
· Coughing, sneezing, runny nose (unless slight and clear)
· Fever of 100 or higher withe last 24 hours.
· Questionable rash or skin infection.
· Vomiting
· Diarrhea
