- Offering the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ in church gatherings, outreaches to the community and in our daily lives. Those who receive this gift are encouraged to follow Christ’s instructions to be baptized in water as an outward sign of the inward change. All believers are challenged to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit as the power to live an effective life in Christ. Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:5,8, Acts 2: 1-4
- Giving back to the Lord from our resources, talents and time recognizing that all good things come from God. Luke 6:38, 2 Corinthians 9:6-12
- Embracing the work of the Holy Spirit in individual lives as evidenced by all of the fruits of the Spirit and in the congregation as evidenced by the manifestation of all of the gifts the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12, 13, 14
- Being a place of spiritual growth and safety under the spiritual covering and authority of Jesus Christ, the Word of God and the Elders/Overseers submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit. All things being done properly and in an orderly manner recognizing that God is not a god of confusion but of peace. Acts 20:28-30; 1 Peter 5:1-3, Colossians 1:17-19; 1 Corinthians 14:33, 40
- Supporting missionary efforts to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world and in whatever way the Holy Spirit directs us. Matthew 28: 18-20; Acts 1:8
