Questions You May Have about Our Services
Q. What is a typical weekend service like?
A. Typically, our services last about an hour and thirty minutes. We begin with a greeting and welcome of guests.  We do not do anything to embarrass or make a guest feel uncomfortable, but simply welcome them. Next are announcements of important upcoming events and a brief time of greeting the people around you.  The worship service begins with a time of praise and worship, led by our worship leader, vocalists and a full band. Worship lasts about 30 minutes. Often, during our worship, we have a time for individuals to receive prayer and ministry. After the worship and ministry time, the speaker for the day will present a message from Scripture.  Most of the speakers serve as either Pastors or Elders at Cornerstone, and although they are not seminary graduates, you can always expect to be challenged and inspired by the messages preached from the pulpit. All services conclude with an invitation to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and an opportunity to receive prayer for any needs or concerns. Our services are “Spirit-filled” which means that we expect the “fruit” and “gifts” of the Holy Spirit to be evident for the common good of the congregation as explained in Galatians 5 and 1 Corinthians 12-14. The church celebrates communion on the first Sunday of each month and everyone who places their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior is welcome to partake of communion with us regardless of their denominational background.

Q. What is the style of music at Cornerstone?
A. Our style can be described as "contemporary worship." We seek to reflect the personality and diversity of our congregation, as well as worship the Lord with songs that glorify Jesus, proclaim our love for Him, and include scripture and statements of our faith. You'll find a blend of popular worship songs from a variety of styles and the great traditional hymns of the church. You’ll find a blend of loud energetic songs of praise as well as quiet intimate worship in His presence.  It is our desire is to give the Lord what He deserves -- our undivided, heartfelt praise.

Q. What kind of childcare is offered during your services?
A. We offer our Nursery Ministry for infants and babies and children up through 4 years old for the duration of our service. All 5-10 year olds are a part of their very own Children’s church service. Children are dismissed to attend this service following the time of praise and worship in the adult service.
